Press Pass Application

Complete this form to apply for a press pass. Each applicant must apply separately.



In order to qualify, we expect you to have 18-24 months of continuous coverage on your platforms. If you apply and are approved for press passes, you agree to our press terms and conditions. Applying does not guarantee you a press pass; you will be notified if you have been approved for a press pass. If approved, your names and press badges will be at the box office on site, and you can pick up your press badges at the box office with a photo ID. Press passes must be applied for ahead of time; they will not be granted at the event. Posting or airing more than 5 minutes of a panel without prior written consent from Capital City Comic Con is not permitted. Live streaming is also not permitted. Press pass holders that wish to record or film anything that will be used for commercial purposes (non-professional news channels) must first obtain written permission from Capital City Comic Con and any other participants being recorded. Some celebrities may have a “No Video, No Recording” rule. You MUST ALWAYS ask permission before recording anyone. 

We expect those with press passes:

• To conduct themselves professionally, adhering to all rules, regulations and standards that apply to other attendees, vendors, guests and staff. 
• To publicize coverage of the convention ahead of time on your media and social outlets, in order to promote the event. 
• To use photos in a professional and non-commercial manner, publishing them in an editorial or print/news publication.

Your press badge:

• Does NOT allow early access, special access, or guaranteed seating or line cutting
• Does NOT allow access to events requiring an additional ticket (VIP events or other ticketed events)
• Is NOT transferable. You may not transfer, trade or sell your Press Pass.
